What the knife world needs is...
A Spyderco Cricket or Toad built like an Extrema Ratio folder:D
Maybe available as an auto.
I'd buy it, but then I have alternative cognitive and perceptive processes;) (I'm crazy as a **** house rat in laymans language)

hmmm
In what way? Are you thinking about supersizing the Cricket to the size of a Extrema Ratio folder?
or
Miniaturizing the lock system and such of a Extreme Ratio to a size that would fit in a normal sized Cricket?

I think what you're looking for is Tim Wegner's Mouse. Pick up either the discontinued Spyderco version or the new Blade-Tech version and you'll see what I mean. The Mouse is a tiny little knife, just barely larger than the Toad, that was designed to take the place of a full-sized hunter's fixed blade. And it really does!

I can't think of another small folder that even comes close to being as tough.

My post was a little tongue in cheek, brought on after handling an ER fulcrum and imbibing the falling down water. My idea was a keyring knife as strong as the fulcrum. I think I'll have to check out the mouse now - sounds good.
