a really good sheath-making service. Somewhere in the US where you can send a knife for a custom Kydex sheath (colors would be nice) or leather that offers a variety of carry/retainment options at a fair price and can get it back to you in a couple weeks.

I know there are places out there where you CAN send a knife for a sheath... but there are a lot of service/option limits. (And I'm not knocking the sheath makers out there) I'm thinking of a one-stop-all-purpose-we-do-everything sheath-making company.

I'm just saying that there's a lot of room for a good entrapenur with good business skills. I think the demand is out there if you could meet the demand and keep a variety of materials in stock and have a few people that could do good work in a reasonable amount of time - (and a good website).

I'm currently looking for a good leather sheath right now, actually I've decided to get it from www.armoralleather.com.. He has some nice quality looking sheaths on there. A place like your talking about sounds nice but it seems to me that generally when a product goes into such a high output that the quality suffers. Not to say thats true in all situations but it sounds like what your talking about would be the Wal-Mart of sheath stores and well when I think of Wal-Mart I don't exactly think of quality. I guess there could be a site that sells alot of brands from already established makers but then the prices would be higher than buying direct.

I would like to see a place like your talking about though.

Have you tried Lifter4him on the forums, I've seen his work he makes some nice leather and I believe he also work with kydex, send him a PM or email it couldn't hurt.

I don't think Dave messes with kydex , but for leather, he can't be beat.
