what the !?!?!

It is hard to write about FMA, or any martial art for that matter.

As Suro Jason always says, quoting his father Mangisursuro Mike Inay, it is not in the knowing of the art, it is in the doing of the art.

You are right Steve!

But that has not stopped any of the "experts" (self proclaimed and others) around here from blabbing about this knife, or that stick, or this school, or this tape etc. I kinda miss 'em

Bill

Well hell, I ain't no "expert" and have never played one on tee-vee.(To rip-off a regular posters moniker - I am probably better dubbed something like "Spazzes with Knives") but I love what I have learned here and in FMA/IMA classes over the past few months.

If you have knowledge, share it, nuture it, and watch it grow.

Plus I have been too busy at work to post anything relevant since 9-11-01. :(

Be safe Folks!

I'm working on a post summarizing some instruction Crafty Dog gave on stick vs. empty hand. Sounds like a no-brainer, but if you've seen the Gathering tapes, the empty-hand guy has quite often succeeded in neutralizing the stick.

have been working massive OT due to relocation from 1 liberty plaza (black building across st from WTC).

barely have time to surf MA forums.

to the top anxiously awaiting DancesWithKnives' post
