What time did you send your email?

Hi folks - just as a curiosity, and since Amy and crew will be up to their eyeballs in emails until Thursday...

What time did you send your email - you can look at the message details to see the exact time in the header (if you use gmail for instance, the little down arrow next to the reply button has a "show original" option to see the headers...)

Mine went at 09:41:05 eastern.

Thanks to the Busse crew - these things are exciting and fun.

best regards -

It really doesn't matter what time it says in your Sent file. The only thing that counts is the time stamp it has in the In-Box at Busse. If your email spends 2 minutes lost in the interwebs before it gets to Busse, too bad, you lose.

Hi resinguy -

However, the only thing that any of us have control over is the time we sent it, and that was the question.

I tried to learn from the last Ganza, and I used gmail this time - that service seemed to rock.

gmail doesn't show seconds so it says 9:40, but in my experience gmail takes a while to get there. I'm hoping for the best, but I only need one knife and I have 4 picks, so I may get lucky.

May my wallet forgive me.

Hi Volk - go to your sent folder, then open the email you sent to Amy - then look next to the reply button on the top right side, just to the right of that is a little down arrow, click it and select "show original". That will show you the smtp header with the time down to the second.

Everyone - it is true that this does not really mean you will be first in Amy's line, but I thought it would be fun to see what time people posted.

best regards

Mine shows 6:40PM PST ... which I guess, due to a variance in the board time, is not as bad as I had initially thought. I think perhaps I will get what I wanted. We shall see, we shall see.

6:40:33 PM PST from gmail. That was no more than a minute or so after the GO GO GO. Does anyone have a better handle on the exact time the go command was posted?

It doesn't for me, I tried to see during the previous Ganzas as well but no luck. Maybe its because my settings are set to 24 hour system instead of am/pm, or maybe something else is wrong but all it says is 18:40.

My first ganzaaa. 6:49 probably 15 minutes late. If I get a knife great. If not I saved a lot of money.

Nope you didn't, actually you probably lost a great deal of money, considering that most likely KZ2 and Team Gemini are coming directly to the company store. And if you didn't win anything then you'd have hard time finding excuse not to buy those more expensive knives.

Got home just a bit late and couldn't read through all posts and get an email out until 9:48. Really late for a ganza. If I miss out thats Ok, cause I just hooked up on another forum with someone who has a pistol that I want. Either way works for me! :D
