I'll be bringing a tent, sleeping bags, pads and rain gear. Plus the usual guns, knives, personal hygiene stuff and the pot for Ethan's chilli (although I have not heard back from Cap about it, I'm gonna bring it anyway)

But, I'm kinda stuck on food stuffs. My wife is an excellent organizer and is going to help me out but, I'm still undecided if I want to minimalize camp or pull out all the stuff from the camper trailer and drag it along. I think I will opt for a combination, but I don't have a menu yet.

As for wood, I will not be able to bring a whole lot as the apple trees I cut down in February are still green. Also, to ease Faler's mind, I will not be bringing the pallets, LOL. I was unable to de-nail them because I have 10 pallets just sitting around and spent all that time splitting the wood from the apple trees, yada yada yada..

Also, I was in Andy and Bax today and saw a Lug-able Loo, and wondered if I would need something like that (I almost bought it). I'm not sure if my daughter would be keen on using a slit trench, or what the sh*tter situation is.... LOL

Anyway, I'm probably over-thinking all of this..............I'm just excited about it

That pot will work for the chili so yes, take it.

It'd be nice to get all the ideas cataloged into the first post so next time some one asks what they might need, we could direct them to this thread.

Might help out the newer folks.

Don't forget to bring a camera to catch all the madness that takes place, things to trade if you have any, a tomahawk if you have one since we often have a hawk throwing contest.

Trade goods and spare cash are always good to bring and don't be hesitant to make offers if you see stuff you like :) Chairs are important as well as eye/ear protection for the shooting. Bring a good open sense of humor too lots a joking around at the get together. Serious applies to safety and bacon only. Everything else is fair game :D See ya'll real soon!!!!
