What to buy? 2 KABAR's or SOG Tech Bowie

I can either get a tech bowie or two kabar knives. The knife(s) will be rarely used and will be stored for SHTF. What would you do?

Buy the two Kabars if you're just storing them. They're great knives that will hold up, AND you'll have two of them.

Ka Bars for sure classic design. Plus they hold up well and I have recently had a thing against SOG for some reason. Plus I love my Ka Bar and if nothing else ka bars are great to give as gifts.

The SOG Tech Bowie is a very nice knife, especially with the TiNi blade, guard, and buttcap. AUS8 stainless that has an excellent grind and comes razor sharp. Kraton handle is quite firm and great for holding on to the knife. Well made Kydex sheath for storage, and will not cause rust. I like the SOG!

It looks like the Kabars are the more popular pick, but I say, be your own man, go against the flow of popularity, dare to step out , and choose a SOG Tech Bowie!:thumbup:
