I'm getting ready to buy my first custom or semi custom
I have narrowed the choices down to a large Sebenza or a TNT

While everyone raves about both knifes I have a question

What exactly is talonite and it's property's ?
Does it hold an edge like regular steel ?

Tough choice.
If you want to find out more about Talonite, please do a Search for it.
There are probably hundreds of prior posts that will give all of the info you ever want need, and will even get sick of
good luck.

Tough choice. My small Sebenza is my all time favorite knife. The TNT is very highly thought of here on the forums, but I've never seen one so can't give an opinion. I do like the design and would love to have one. Good luck on your choice and let us know which one you go with.

I have a large seb, a small seb, and a medium TNT. I would not hesitate to recommend the TNT given a choice between the two. The Sebenza is a nice, good knife. I feel the TNT surpasses the Sebenza in style, materials (Talonite will not rust ever) and craftsmanship (Tom builds a hell of a knife). Plus, Tom is doing TNT's with different blades and handles - you get to choose what you want. I guess the point is, the Seb is a factory knife, and you get what you get. The TNT is a custom, and you get what you want!

I have a small Sebenza & medium TnT.

TnT is defintely the way to go. Haven't even considered carrying my Sebenza since I bought the TnT.
