Hey guys, there's so many options, the highest end knives I have right now are the spyderco delica 4 and the cold steel large voyager. But I want something a little higher end. I'm Talking like $80-$140 ANY suggestions will be highly appreciated

Right now im thinking about either the para 2 or grip. But obviously theirs plenty other great options. That's why I'm here :)

Jump to $200 for a ZT0562, you'll be glad you did. If you want to go cheaper a delica is a very good EDC.

Ive seen many great knives in that price range here on the exchange. Im not too knowledgeable on the benchmades but the pm2 is a must have. Look at the Domino, or the zt 801 both amazing flippers and can be found in your range, as well as the s110v manix2 and many others. I always patrol the exchange because i want awesome knives for cheap!

I second patrolling the exchange, can't believe I scored a Spyderco Military for almost half off there.

you cant go wrong with any of these....

Spyderco Gayle Bradley
Spyderco Military
Spyderco Szabo
Kizer ki404b1
fox 479.

I waved my szabo and its one of the most incredible folding knives ever.

In that range I own a Spyderco Paramilitary 2, a Manix 2 Lightweight, and a SOG Bluto, and a Kershaw Skyline in carbon fiber.

I highly recommend all of them. Others in your price range (and mine) are the G10 Manix2, Kershaw Blur, Benchmade Griptilian... Etc. There are so many options to choose from.

I spent hours looking through YouTube knife reviews just to get to competitive or comparable options. Just to watch more knife reviews and discover more designs and makers. I learned a lot and found knifes that I thoroughly enjoy.

Your first thoughts of a PM2 were right on target. You cannot go wrong with that folder. The compression lock is just plain fun to operate and it's a great EDC.

Elmax Blur, Kizer Ki423, Manix 2 Lightweight in S110V, Stretch in ZDP-189, Buck Marksman, H&K 14715, Cold Steel Recon 1 in XHP, Ritter Griptilian in M390, Paramilitary 2 and Yojimbo 2 are all great knives and all in your price range. The hard part is narrowing it down.

Im the minority, but I find the compression locks to be one of my least favorite mechanisms.

Asking as one who owns most other types of lock blades, but no compression locks yet - may I ask why? I think this is very relevant to the thread since the OP is considering a PM2 and that knife is one of the most often recommended in the thread (as stated - I don't have one either).

para 2. Great knife. I got mine new from a retailer for $100. The grip is nice but I prefer the para 2.

The Elmax Blur is a great option or consider a little bit more money for a ZT 0801 or 0770!

I could think of many that would fit this bill. However I just looked into this one and its fresh in my mind and fall right within your price point!

I have a szabo, which has a compression lock. But I think the Comp. Lock is unsightly. The way it sticks out is just ugly to me... It totally ruins the "flow" of the knife in my opinion. And its awkward to use. My opinion. I dont like the way it feels to disengage it one handed especially on such a huge knife.

I would take a linerlock over a comp lock every single day.

I concur with The Kizer Ki423. Here's a pic of mine.

I would recomend the following Spyderco models--- PM2, Sage1 and Sage2. Great folders with nice ergo's.
