What does one do if they want CRK sebenza quality, but in the blade style of a hawkbill or wharnecliff?

I don't know of anybody else in a three-digit price range who does a frame lock quite as precisely as CRK does with the benefit of a bunch of experience and the volume that makes it possible to use some expensive equipment. But there are other good frame locks out there, with their own touches of artistic and mechanical talent.

I can't think of a frame-lock hawkbill at the moment, though I'm sure there's a custom maker who would do one if properly coaxed and rewarded. The Darrel Ralph Krait is sort of a cross between a hawkbill and a geo-tanto, and I think that can be had as a frame-lock.

Allen Elishewitz makes a couple of standard Wharncliffe designs, and does them as liner locks, or frame locks, or "bolster locks" (frame locks with inlays). Here's a scan of a bolster lock.

When CRK gets current on Sebenza production, we can bug them for new blade shapes.

I am very fond of my Elishewitz Cortex, just couldn't keep waiting for that small warncliffe Sebenza.
