In the past two month’s I have acquired:

1. Tankbuster’ ¼” (w/ CBL sheath), choil-less, green w/ green g-10 mags,.
2. SJTAC, .22” saber-ground, satin blade w/ Smooth Bolt (tan) handles.
3. BOSS Street from Busse (blk w/ blk – very pleasantly surprised with this model).
4. Bushwacker Battle Mistress LE from Busse. (Not yet received). First and only :o Mistress I have ever (well, will – maybe) own.

I really want a BOSS Jack and/or (probably too much $ for me sadly :() Gladius.

So I’m not sure what I should do! I would love to keep everything AND go to town on the Ganzaa, but that can’t happen (says the wife) Although I only have but maybe two that I need to sell, I need to know which one or two that I have to cry over FORCED-SELLING (I do love my wife dearly, but…. A man needs his INFI and she doesn’t understand). So Jerry, please, humbly I ask to throw us a bone and tell us what knives we have to fight for in the Battle Royale, known as the Ganzaa!

*Always lookin out for the phony-Jerry’s!* You Clowns, You! :p :D

i would sell #'s 1 and 2.

the tac handles are among my least favorite, both aesthetically and in hand.

boss streets and bwm's are still available, so you would have to sell at a loss.

I'd keep the Bwmle your going to love it. I know i'm not parting with mine anytime soon. Its an awesome mistress.

I feel exactly the same way. Ditch the knives with the tac handles...you'll thank yourself later.

The first time I held a TAC handle, I loved it. I don't own one, but I was surprised about how much I liked the BTAC immediately.

Just keep the ones you think will get the most use. Because unused infi is wasted infi (unless you have the scratch buy what ever users you want, and keep a bunch of safe queens, then you are just planning for the future)

I really wanted to love the Boss Jack -- it looks good and the handles feel good, but it was more blade-heavy than I expected. The Boss Street felt better to me. Of course, that's just my opinion -- lots of folks like the Boss Jack a lot.

The BWM was almost an exact opposite situation for me. I wasn't at all sure that I'd buy even one, but based on comments from others, I eventually decided that it was as near to a SHBM re-release as I'm likely to see, so I decided to order three CGs. When they arrived, I liked them so much that I ordered another three. Finally, I was able to buy the Competition Finish BWMs at the last Knob Creek -- they are SWEET.

It may have a lot to do with expectations, but the Boss Jack fell short because my expectations were so high, while the BWM far exceeded my relatively low expectations. I heard that the CG Gladius is supposed to be released at a bit over $700 (I remember it as $717). If you can afford one, they look very impressive -- I've got an LE on pre-order, but since it was placed via proxy, I haven't personally held one. B11s were also a very hot seller, although I have one, and while it's a good knife, I consider the BWM to be superior. However, once again, my opinions may differ from the majority.

I wil say that the TAC handle is very underated. THey are great knives and dont get enough love due to the fact that they are both 2nd generation knives and no one wants to love on em in fear of hurting the value of previous models.

Well, I think that Jerry and company usually improve models when they redo them.

Except, in case of the Gen III handles:cool:;):D

The Smooth Bolt makes up for comfort on the SJ – Tac. Handles - however, I have had other SJTAC's that I didn’t really care for – mag handled tacs & standard handled Satin Jack Tac’s so I get what you guys mean about ‘tac’ handles. However the ‘Smooth Bolt,’ on the tac handle, IMO, works really well for this SJ.
I really want a Boss Jack now! The TankBuster will probably go even though it is the only one with a sheath, a very nice Chubby Bear Leather one! It’s also one very nice knife for anyone who wants a nice mid-range chopper (no choil, imo, is great for chopping when the blade is 6 1/4" - it's nearly all cutting edge) or a great camp knife – hard to let this go, and, hey, I may not & skip the Ganzaa !

they just dont sit right in my hands. the swells create hot spots.

if i had baseball mitt hands, they would probably be way more comfortable. with my med's, about 1/3 of the handle sticks out.

Well, as long as the typical thread drift has morphed into a handle discussion....

I was just going through myGrat Big Box-O-INFI to cull some for sale, and was surprised how good the handle of the Howling Rat LM felt. (Same handle as RMD, IIRC).

Jerry should steal that handle design from Jennifer.
