wow
here i am on vacation and seldum have inter net access so i am out of idears on what kind of contest to have for my next buck knife give away...
i am open to sujestions ...
prize will be a buck lite signed by CJ his self at the shot show...
SO- what would be a good contest to have ?

"Design a Buck Knife"

Submit your design; Buck Forum viewers will vote on it; the winning design will be mass-produced by Buck (or maybe the Chinese) for the next Annual Buck Forum Knife!!! :D
 
How about a limerick contest?

There was a young lady who carried a Buck
While shopping one day, it was just her luck
A thief thought it funny, to try and take all her money
And now it's in his butt where her knife is stuck

Ideas:

1. Give it to the person that pledges the most to a Post Falls, Idaho scholarship fund to be named later. (All pledges are gifted in the name of this forum). Similar ideas..a blind auction or a raffle.

2. Give it to the person that submits a photo of himself standing next to an identifiable landmark while holding a Buck knife. The farthest, strangest, highest altitude, most remote places would score highest (judge's decision is final).

3. Give it to the person that posts the most on this forum in 2007. Repeated nonsense posts don't count.

4. Give it to the person who starts the thread that gets the most replies in 2007.
 
Give it to the person that correctly predicts what will be in the holiday tins next December.
 
I like the idea of a "Buck knife in use" picture. We would get pictures of everything from folks cleaning their fingernails to folks cleaning huge bull elk. Might not be fair to those that cant post pictures though.
I like the "design a knife" idea except there are too many legal entanglements with that.
It should be ok to "modify an existing design" ala drop point 120 kind of thing though.

so far i like the rime or the pick of buck in use...
issue with picts is the ones on dile up (like me now ) that takes sooooo
long to load!!! any good pick!!!! cartoon same issue....
