So, I've been on a spending spree lately as a recent raise at my job has afforded some indulgences into my various hobbies. I have a moderate collection of knives (80ish) and am looking into adding a new brand to my collection again. New TGLB arrived a couple months ago, as well as a killer deal on a BNiB large sebenza 21 that I couldn't pass up ($318.00!!!!).

I've got room in the budget for one more high end knife to collect (probably will never use, just operate and admire) am I'm looking at four different model from two different brands:

1. Zt 0560 cbcf
2. Zt 0561
3. Lionsteel sr1 (orange or green)
4. Lionsteel tispine

I guess it should be noted I've pre-ordered the 0600 and 0801cf, so the zt fix will eventually be cured but when? I usually carry a pm2 on the weekends and a leaf storm to work, and the only one of the four above that I would ever "think about using" is the 0561. What would you get?:confused::confused:

out of the 4 I have the 0561 and the SR-1A in red/black. between those 2 I am much more comfortable using my SR-1A mostly because it was cheaper but its also a really great EDC blade shape and the roto lock it great for hard use situations. My 0561 is my around the house knife and I put a kryptoglow scale on it. the 0561 is much smoother then the SR-1A but putting bearings against washers is a little unfair :) the SR-1A is 0.2 ounces lighter and 0.5" shorter. Both can achieve hair poping edges and both seem to e able to hold that edge pretty nicely. With all that said they are both really great knives I wasn't able to choose just one and now having both Im not sure I could choose one but I think the 0561 as a slight advantage being able to take custom scales.

If I were you, I'd buy my BNIB orange/black Lionsteel SR1-A. I would do this because it is awesome but doesn't get used ;) .

Zt 0561 is nice, got mine Monday , If you do go for a zt , contact kershawguy , great prices, and steller customer service.

I would be interested in the orange sr1, but LOVE the satin blade version! I'm really leaning towards a 0561, but the cbcf seems to have a collector grade "investment" appeal to it.
