well, i was an idiot and was trying to break up a small block of cedar. hey i can chip that chunk off, the wood is dry it will be fine ~snap~ and then my blade is about 1/4 inch shorter (maybe less got chiped off but its still a broken tip). of course it was a knife that i have had great luck with (was under 30 bucks, a schrade, and kept a really good edge for how cheap it was).
so now what to do, the tip didnt crack off totalhy straight, theres a slight ) into the blade. of course its to hard to really grind down with my sander and im not going to waste money on re-HT'ing it. so just use it as a beater? any way to really put a good tip back on or heck any tip so it doesnt just look like i totaly just snaped it off?
thanks
