I need the advice and opinions from my forum brothers please...
I just got a new SAK yesterday off a local classified ad.
Not exactly the one I wanted(Outrider), but still pretty sweet. No model name was given.
I tried to find it, but none like it were on the auction site, or on Victorinox site.
When I got it, it was NIB and never used. Still has the burr from the original grind on the saw blade.
On the box it is marked as the "Carpenter" model. 111mm, large locking blade, saw, openers, pliers,
two phillips heads(one t-handle, one under the pliers) and an awl.
What I need help with is, is this model anything special? Anything a collector might be looking to find?
I got it to be a user/edc, but now I'm wondering if maybe it should be a safe-queen or sale/barter item?
I'd hate to mess up someone's grail piece to finish a collection when I'd rather have an Outrider anyway.lol.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this, and thanks in advance for any info/input.
A good day and best wishes to all of you.

I found the model you're talking about! (I think) and I'd say use it i don't see it being a collectors piece......
