What to do with a spare sheath?

Make a knife to fit it, of course. I had another knife in this sheath that didn't quite fit correctly, so I decided to cut down a spare machete that I really didn't care for the shape of. I've been eyeing the Condor Moonshiner so that is what I was trying to get close to, it came out more like a Condor Primitive Sequoia, as I didn't want to drop point it. Started out as a Columbian Enduro machete No. 844-16, British carbon steel.

When I read your thread title I never expected that answer. :D  Very nicely done  Now maybe you could attach a little holder to the sheath for your Sharpie and everyone will be happy. ;) I like it.

You did a nice job. Should be pretty slicy for a blade that size with the thin machete steel.

After seeing this thread, I’ll never again let go of a spare sheath. From now on, any that I end up with will go into a shoebox in the corner of a closet shelf, they’ll stay there and any time I see the box I’ll smile and think “Who knows--maybe someday...”

A $5 machete turned into a nice Condor tribute, I think the sheath fits the style knife quite well, it just has that "they go together" look.

I don't either and that includes handgun holsters as well. You never know what the future holds. My shoebox is a rubbermaid tub. :D

Nice work! You realy made that blade YOURS. I didnt expect that as the answer when I read the title.
