What to do with my True Temp Tomahawk Hatchet?

I need suggestions for what to do. I need to get a hatchet for home use. I already have a older True Temper Tomahawk Hatchet. The head is in good condition, takes an edge well, and has the original handle (still can see the markings). I like the hatchet but it's a little small and light for what I need.

My thoughts:

Is it a really high quality hatchet? Something that is collectable and not worth using?

OR,

just use it even though its smaller than I prefer? The handle is good except there is a chunk broken off from the bottom of the handle. I would put a new handle on it.

What do you all think?
