what to do with spare pelican cases?

I have recently come into posession of a pair of pelican 1400 cases, and one pelican 1500.
while I have put one of the 1400s into service as a case for my various electronics and gadgets while at uni (portable hard drives, battery chargers, torches, watches ect ect) I have the second 1400 and the larger 1500 sitting around doing nothing.
does anyone have any suggestions for what I could put in there?
or other things I could do with such things?

I did think of my flashlights, but none of them are especially expensive or worth protecting

Lets see, I think I have 4 Pelican cases in total. 1 for my AR-10, 1 filled with medical stuff, then the other two are micro cases that I keep fire starting stuff in and the other is a basic firearms cleaning kit (.45 and .30 boresnakes, lube, cleaner, grease, punches, couple of alan wrenches and whatnots).

If you can't think of anything that you want to survive the zombie apocalypse right now, just leave them empty and I'm sure you'll think of something in a while.

I keep my binoculars and eyepieces for my telescopes in 5 different pelican/storm cases. Another one holds a HK USP 45 and a bunch of ammo for a grab and go. A Stormcase briefcase is in the process of becoming a knife case.

If you can't think of anything that you want to survive the zombie apocalypse right now, just leave them empty and I'm sure you'll think of something in a while.

That's the truth: empty space always attracts junk to fill it!

They are great for your cell phone, wallet, ect. around water. When I fish, phone and license ride in one. Everything else on me can get wet.

only problem with this is that the cases I have are somwhat on the large side for just my pocket contents.
I did think it might be cool to turn the bigger 1500 into a laptop case, but alas, my laptop is a couple of mm too wide to fit
maybe as a case for my emergency car kit......

even if I was willing to give them up (I'm not, they are sure to come in usefull sometime) the shipping would probably be as much as the cases !

I have the small one, I originally got it for a Olympia camera but it broke and couldn't find anything to put in it so I retired it. Any box above the size of an Altoids tin is too big IMO and bags are better for storing things(but not water/crush proof...)
