What to do with the SN1/Edgeworks Sheath Prototype?

Scott from Edgeworks and I were talking the other day about what to do with the Gurkha House sheath prototype (it was made using a SN1). It's purely a custom one-of-a-kind sheath. Several people have emailed me about buying it, but I want to be fair to everybody. What I thought to do was this:

Once Scott and Buzz have used the prototype (with changes incorporated) to ramp up for the production run, they'll return it to me. We would auction it off on bladeforums or ebay, with the total winning bid being donated to a carefully selected Nepalese charity.

Any thoughts?

Sure, if that doesn't work, we can give it away as well. Let us know what you would like to do.

Spark: I definitely think ebay is out in favor of Bladeforums, but I'm strongly leaning toward a charity auction based upon the number of private emails I've received recommending various Nepali oriented charities.

I'm happy to say that we found a charity to receive the procedes for the WWIII prototype auction - it'll be Feed The Children out of Ithaca, NY. They focus on improving the lives of families by helping them to buy smokeless stoves, etc.

I'll post more when more becomes available. Also, just thought I'd say that the WWIII blades are in the air!
