I went to flip the clip on my BM 420 and noticed the torx screws are so tight that I'm afraid I'll strip the screws and/or the tool. Any Ideas on how to soften up the locktite? any info would be much appreciated

I've heard running the screws under quite hot water will loosen it up, and it won't affect the G10.

hold a soldering iron to the screw for a minute or so then quickly unscrew while the loctite it still soft.

The knife is totally worthless at this point. Send it to me and I'll dispose of it properly.

I do this all the time. Works like a charm. You don't want to get any flux or solder on the screws, so check the tip before beforehand. I actually use a "dedicated" tip for screw removal. It has never seen flux or solder of any kind. Good luck!
