Decided I was going to make the Wife something she might use every now and then. So decided to make her some tweezers, Hey I gotta do something with this leftover damascus.
Hope this inspires.

Very nice. I especially like the small one. It almost looks like you could make it into a necklace.

It's good to see more NC guys here.

Maybe have a damascus maker weld pieces together? Please let me know if that is a horrible idea ;).

BTW I really dig those tweezers!

Very cool Chris! I just forged myself a new knife the other day from some of my scrap. Of course, some of my scrap is bigger than it should be :)

Thanks everybody, I really enjoy attempting to use every little part of my scraps if I can. If anyone else has any widgets they created with there damascus please show us all.
Chuck, Those are great and another good idea of how to use our small pieces, my wife really liked those also.
Decker, I hear you I imagine your scraps are much larger than mine being a Damascus maker and all.

Yes there is a process I could do to forge weld all the scrap together. Just have never found the time to do it is all. Plus then I would not have made these Tweezers

Hey fellow NC maker, if you can ever make it this way I make Damascus every Sat from 9AM-1PM and your invited.

Make "Kitchen Soup" damascus throw it all in a can ..fill with powdered steel and weld the badboy up.. then make some real unique cool blades

Whenever I visit Wally Hayes' shop, I scavenge through his bandsaw scrap for damascus to make my little striker knives.
