what to do......

Here is the conundrum. I have a NIB, Buck 110. It has a Damascus blade, nickel silver bolsters, and brown bone scales. It has been
converted to an auto by Cumberland Mtn. It is a REALLY nice knife. Do I use it and enjoy it, or put it away as a collectable? Just curious what you guys would do.

Doc, normally you could use it, however, you may get caught up in the pitfall of local laws vs. automatic carrying that could cause you some problems. If you like it, store it. When you're tired of it--trade it off for what you want (then)

Well, that depends upon what exactly you enjoy about fine knives, keeping them mint and displaying them or using them to their fullest potential.

I'm not saying that the Buck 110 is a bad knife, but there may be a knife better suited to the tasks you have in mind. That way you could keep the 110 mint.

Bottom line: If you would really enjoy using the 110, then by all means do!
