I'm new to the Busse Universe of knives. I have a Swamp Rat Rodent 3 ordered and got in on a Busse Battle Grade Anniversary Steel Heart order. Should have got in on a TGLB but missed. The way you guys talk about INFI steel make me want a knife in it bad. I have been all over the exchange just can't decide. Get one from there or wait until new ones come out on the site? Looking for something around 6- 7inches
and 500 to 400 dollars, If that is possible. Like the Hell Razor, Tankbuster, and Really the TGLB style blades. Shouldn't really spend the money, need new winter tires for the car. Could walk to work I guess, 90 miles round trip is not so bad. But this Busse knife Bug has me BAD :)

Bro...haven't you heard...they cancelled winter this year...so you're good!

Go ahead & grab two fistfulls of INFI...

And look, a steamin' fresh batch of half-foot longs has been served up on the Exchange...mmmmmmmm the INFI, smells like bacon!

Generally speaking, your best value will be to buy INFI direct from the Shop. For example, the ASHBM is a whole lotta knife at a great price.

OTOH, waiting for new INFI models from Jerry is a fool's game. You just never know when new stuff will come out.

Your best bet is to haunt the various resale forums and sites, and grab that TGLB when you spot a good deal. There must be many out there, but some sellers will no doubt jack the price hoping to capitalize on the recent sellout. My guess is that there will be a short term panic bubble, and then the prices will settle down as the supply is ample.

Good luck in your quest, it is part of the fun here!

Thanks a lot resinguy, I think that's what I will do. Just wait see what happens on the site and just keep my eye out for that TGLB.

Well it really depends on what your intended use is for your next knife ---- TGLB is loved by many --- me not so much --- like Guy already said the ASHBM is easily the best bang for your buck. It's a monster chopper and yet light enough to handle for a subjectively extended period of time. Plus when they stop selling them direct from the shop, the price will likely double. I suggest you check out the FSH's also. Either way -- you can't go wrong!! Welcome to the madness!!

Aaaaaaand remember if you find a .27 inch Saber ground FSH ---- it's called a HHFSH. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. There are some purists around here who claim that only original run HHFSH qualify to carry that model title --- NONSENSE I TELL YOU --- NONSENSE!!!! --- Don't be mad Guy!! ;) <3 <3

Based on the size you are looking for and the price range given I would just get a ASHBM from the shop. Oh and do yourself a favor while your waiting on it pick up a RMD you can thank me later.

With Operation 2 weeks rolling, if you can wait, this is your best bet to snag something awesome at the shop price. There are deals in the Exchange too, and some great prices on users from time to time.
