Oh, man. Now i have to decide which sheath to get for my CABS!!!! Oh well, what are you guys going to go with??? i can't decide between a kydex IWB or a leather one. Lets hear some ideas!!!

Oh, and anyone know the RC of the CABS edge??? I haven't heard anyone say the answer yet! Im still trying to decide if i should use my Cabs for edc(i use it rough sometimes at work) or just stick with my thicker original BS. What do you guys think about using the Cabs real hard with the new thinness?

Either would be fine for the CABS.

I plan to contact Leatherman. This knife calls for something ... nice.

Hard use? Why, of course. This is a Busse knife ... anything less would be an insult.

EDIT: Of course, to me "hard use" does not mean jamming it into a tree and jumping up and down on it; nor does it mean chopping or even slicing a brick. Hard, but appropriate, is what I mean. Cut and slice away, but let us not get maniacal. As you've already mentioned, we have other tools for that.

I'm getting at least two different options, maybe three. I usually get a couple different options for all of the knives I actually plan to use, that way I have different methods of carrying it.

I'm a leather fan. I find kydex to either have too much or too little grip in most I've owned. Both guns and knives. Gimme old fashioned leather. (Altho my current carry holster IS kydex - ultra thin Appendix carry by FIST. It's so flexible it's practically leather. LOL)

For Kydex that I have experience using, Buy Brown sheaths are awesome. I especially like his taco style.

mashed cat sheaths makes a great pancake style.

The Alzweki (SP???) sheath I had really impressed me as well. Great handle retention. Tight like I like them on the handle, but because of the flare still very easy to resheath. Smooth draw.

For leather I just make my own (super ghetto though the may be).

I love Mikeymoto sheaths, Leather man, Chuddy Bear, Branson (???) and a bunch of others that are escaping me now.

My real reason for liking kydex mainly comes down to utility. I have to take my knives on and off a lot, and you just can't beat a tec lock for that.

I need to figure out a reasonably strong way to attach a tech lock to leather that will endure.

I do like leather for the look, and reduced scratches on satin finish.

yea, im thinking leather also. there is just something about it. anyone ever hear about the Rc of the edge? im still wondering....
