i won a youtube contest abo weeks 4 weeks ago. i won a custom knife.a couple of days later i got a email saying the knife was on the way . cool. a week goes by get another email says knife on the way. cool again.fast forward 2more weeks nothing yet. i know the knife is coming from up from Canada.now the problem does anyone know how long shipping from canada would take?i want to drop him an email but i also don't want to bother him.any idea's on how long to wait before you think something happened during shipping?any advice would be great.
 
packages that are coming from canada to us can sometimes get lost thats why its good to get insurance on a package for shipping to canada. i dont know if thats the case for you but just a suggestion :)
 
New York has some funky knife laws. A lot of internet sellers won't ship to NY.

I hope you see your knife soon.
 
Took almost a month for the last knife I ordered to arrive to Canada from the US
 
I'd email the guy if it doesn't show up after one more week and let him know that there's a chance it got lost in transit. He'd probably be just as concerned as you. Hopefully he has a tracking number.
 
Be real careful that you don't get mail asking for special funds for transit or inspection costs, or for ANYTHING ELSE. You may be getting scammed. They've tried me several times in different ways; many of us, I suppose.
