what to expect from the hunter revolver.

Hey all, just ordered the hunter revolver, and I wanted to know what you guys, who own one think of it. Of course I've seen this review. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=354507&highlight=sog+revolver

And that was pretty much what made me want to buy it. But ya, those of you who own or have handled one, what do you think of it?

I can say it is becoming a very well liked knife, one people can trust and depend on.

That is very important to me.

ah, good, I was hoping you would be one too respond. I was wondering about the test when he was doing batoning, do you think the guthook would take any damage in light to medium batoning?

 

[Robbie Roberson]

I don't think you would have to worry about the gut hook or blade at all as long as your using wood to baton with.

Remember, this 5 inch saw will cut pretty good sized trees down, take your time and carefully drop them and "feed them" to your fire, this saves your arm and knife.

The Revolver is a great knife. Mine is still going strong, and it's been through quite a bit by now. :thumbup:
