What to Give?

I'm nearing my 1000th post and have been in deep thought about what to give back to this community for the help, support, and generosity that I have been the recipient of. I wouldn't give away something that I was given for free - that wouldn't be right. Leftovers just don't have enough meaning. There's certain knives that I just can't give away do to sentimental reasons or due to their irreplacability.

Just curious how people who have done this already decide what to give...
 
Personally, I wouldn't mind getting a second-hand. Means that the knife's got some character, as well as a story or two. A knife with background is a knife worth using.
 
When I had my giveaway I thought of what subforum I enjoyed the most and gave a knife that while not real expensive was a great knife an eye brand stockman! New or used is okay as long as itsomething someone will enjoy
 
I give new, but that's because I get too attached to my users. :D While a lot of folks seem to give away super nice pieces of work, it's beyond my means so I instead gift examples that are within my (college student) means. A knife not need be expensive to still be of quality. :)
