What to look for in a new slippie?

Been lurking for a while in the traditional section and just got my hands on a stockman that I purchased online. What are the usual checklists in looking for a traditional slipjoint?...blade play, strength backsprings (depends on one's liking), blades rubbing each other, etc. Just wanting to train my eye for my next purchase.

Of course, the pickiness I have is relative to the cost of the knife, but generally:
-No big gaps between handle material and bolsters.
-Symmetrical blade grind.
-No blade wiggle when opened.
-"Walk and talk" or does it snap shut nicely when the blades are lowered to around 45°
-No cracks or chips in the handle material around the pins

I'm sure I'll think of some others once I have my coffee...

In addition to what comoha pointed out, I check to see if the blade is centered when closed on a single blade or there is no rubbing between the blades or the liners on a multi-blade knife.

I also look at it through the bottom (springs) up against light to make sure I can't see daylight between the springs, liners, and handles.

I dislike springs being proud when blade is open...or closed...feels rough&poorly finished.
