What to order?

I just paid for a spear point barlow from Gene Wiseman. Great work at a good price. Can't wait to get it. I've got a Lannys Clip on order with Brent Cramer, about a year out. I'm waiting for Tracy Larock to get back to me on another order. I'm also discussing a custom order with Dr. Taber. While I scramble to cover funds, I don't know if I want a Zulu or LC from Dr. Taber or Tracy. I'm already getting an LC from Brent. I already have a Zulu from J Oeser. I have two Case Tribal Spears and one Case LC, so I'm good for examples of the patterns. I just want to focus on custom blades. I think I'll have burnt myself out with this many, they will be users though. Well, the LaRock will be a user, the Cramer and Taber will be special carry knives.

Which do I order from Tracy and Dr T? Lets see some pics from both makers. I believe that Tracy only works with O1 right now, and Dr T only works with ATS34, but I'm waiting to hear back from him, and Tracy will be adding other steels later this year. Looking at micarta on all to keep costs down, and make sure they go in my pocket (I don't want to mar bone covers).

Neither. Mix it up. Pick yourself up a Remington Bullet trapper pattern like the Ohta-made one you missed out on.

My advice is that you sell a kidney and buy both knives. Who needs two kidneys anyway? ;)

Here's a couple photos of my Zulu by Dr. Tabor. Hopefully they'll be more helpful than my advice.

One kidney to sell rather. That Taber is beautiful. Christian, I've thought about getting a bullet from Mr Ohta.

Variety is the spice of life. You'll just get bored with the micarta and trade them off.

:p

Dr T builds a very fine teardrop pattern, that would be a nice carry knife.

If you could kick in part of your liver, a Pēna Remington R1306 would be a nice addition :)
