What to use to scrape blemish off of blade?

Hi, guys. I just bought a new Spyderco Persian (beautiful knife!) and it has two small white-ish marks right under the Spyderhole. I tried to scrape them off with my fingernail and couldn't, so they may actually be scratches in the metal.

Is there anything I could use to scrape at it to see if it is something that could come off? The only thing I can think of is super-fine steel wool, but I don't know if that will damage the polished finish on the blade.

Regards,

Well, you can use Flitz metal polish...but if I were you, I wouldn't bother. Just live with it. It's gonna get scratches anyway.

Years ago I bought a knife that had a blemish. I called the dealer ( "Jeff" from the Cutlery Shoppe") and told him that I was a collector, and wanted to exchange it for one that had no blemishes. Not only did he exchange it, but they went through and picked out a real nice one.

I have come to appreciate how effective Nevr-Dull (correct spelling) is at removing stains and such. It really does the trick.
