What traditional are you taking to the woods

Probably not going this year, but if I do, I'll probably just take what I normally carry: Buck 110 or 2 blade slipjoint folding hunter on my belt, a large stockman or moose and a 4 blade Scout/Camp/Engineers/Demo knife in my pocket.

I will be carrying my Schrade Heritage red bone trapper with a missing shield deer hunting. Beaten and battered but still gtakes a great edge. Been carrying it about 20 years.

Well if I am just doing a little woods walking, hunting for squirrels and birds or a trout or two, I just take what I always carry. A modified Muskrat pattern

f I am chasing larger game, it will be a Buck 110 with some sort of fixed blade. Honestly either knife would do the whole job but I always fear showing up to a kill and my knife ghas slipped the sheath. Here were my moose knives a few years ago. I prefer a different fixed blade now but very similar design.

Not a hunter but I like to go into the forest, woodlands in fine weather. What i like to take is a fixed, one that locks, a multi-blade. So, Puukko wood handle, carbon, Laguiole by Fontenille-Pataud that locks in Sandvik and a Queen Cutlery Stockman in D2 with bone scales. Covers most stuff, plus I like it!

Thanks, Will
