Please move this if I am way off base posting here. I just wanted to wish all of the dads on the porch a very happy Father's Day. I hope you carry a knife that has some significance to you as a father. God bless you all my friends.

Sorry for the poor picture, this is my 10 dot 1980 canoe that my oldest daughter and wife gave me for father's day a while back. In honor of my birth year. It was my first knife.

Good idea! This one is the one I will be carrying. Father's day present the wife and daughter got me a few years ago!

I've received 3 knives over the past few years for Father's Day, so I had to decide which to carry today, I went with my first Father's Day gift, 62 courthouse whittler in spring green, me and my oldest went to the farm across the river behind our home and picked up some apple cider donuts

Happy Father's Day

Pete

Happy Father's Day everyone, out at a restaurant waiting for the reservation with the family and just presented my father with his gift, a new alox SAK for his keys.

It is not off base as long as there are traditional knives in it.

So, perhaps the topic could be, "What knife are you carrying this Father's day?"

How about; "What Traditional Knife are you carrying this Father's Day?"

Great topic, happy Father's Day, Drew! The only knife my adult son (40 yrs old) has ever bought me (in 2003). Apparently, I'm supposed to whack some melons with this! :)

Adjusted the topic as suggested above. Pete your daughter is adorable! Captain I am not familier with your situation but I wish you the best.
Great knives all

Happy Fathers' Day to all you proud Poppas!

I thought I'd carry this knife today, made and carried by a friend, and a proud Father and Grandfather like me, and which knife it is now my responsibility to feed and care for!

I got my yeller case medium stockman in my pocket today since my Father's Day knife doesn't arrive in the mail until tomorrow. I'm getting a case amber bone texas jack. :) happy Father's Day everyone!

Orange pioneer today. Because not a day goes by when I don't use most, if not all of the tools in my fatherly tasks.

Sure would be hard to beat that one Charlie, nice choice

just my usual, since I have not made it home yet. (Maybe over the 4th of July I'll make it home) I have a "few" there that are going to be added to my EDC group. IN the mean time, my Buck 110, Buck 301, and Buck 389 are getting the most pocket and belt time.

Well put Charlie. I'm counting my blessings as well. All five of my children are doing well today. For that I am grateful. It hasn't always been that way.

Very nice Charlie, great to see that knife carried and used.

Nice sentiments, Mark. My wife and I are very blessed and try not to take it for granted.

Great carry, Frank.

Not the best pic as I have a club for a hand, but my carry today is a lockback whittler that Joel Chamblin built for me, atop some rare and beautiful cocobolo BURL.
