Last year I gave my 2 sons identical Case medium Stockman's.

I found an old broken (tip) Buck 110 the other day that was my (late) Dads. I'd forgotten about it. I sent it to Buck for a new blade and spa treatment. I might give it to my youngest brother this year. I don't know if it will make it back in time.

Haven't decided about the sons this year.

This is one of the Medium Stockman's.

Going to give my dad a #56 Northfield EZ open in Che Chen Rosewood this year. He mostly likes folders in the 3-3½ inch range & the EZ open notch will be appreciated when his arthritis starts to act up.
I got a new nephew who is a little too young at the moment (less than 3 months old) but I could probably go ahead & get his collection started 🤔 😂

I bought my daughter a pocket worn Case for her first birthday. Obviously I didn't give it to her, but it was dated 1999, the year of her birth. When she turned 20 I gave it to her for Christmas, told her the story of buying it for her first birthday and told her to Google how to date the knife. She sat there on her phone for a minute and when she realized it was made in 99 looked up and gave me a grin.

Yep, get his collection started with a birth date Case. It's a great idea.

Oddly enough I just ordered my 70 yo mom a silver alox cadet. Her and my 10 yo nephew are visiting.

My nephew has a survival show on and my mom started talking about a knife she saw awhile back that she really would like. After her description I showed her my cadet because that’s what it sounded like. She said it was it except the one she seen was silver.

So a silver cadet is on the way.It will be her first pocket knife.👍

I bought my wife a Dragonfly a few years ago.

Turns out women love a good pocketknife.

Well, I changed ships at the last minute and drop shipped him a Syderco Double Stuff. I live a thousand miles away and don't know what he has for sharpening tools. It looks like a handy thing to own.

Now, what about my brother?

Sharpening stones sounds like a thoughtful gift!

What does your brother like? Would a themed knife be something he would like? The magician's knives from Case are pretty cool.

The only edged cutting tool I'm gifting this year is a Crown cabinet scraper.
It's been a few years since I gifted any traditional knives for Christmas.
Most of the people I'd gift one too aren't exactly knife nuts who would want to own a bunch.
