300 series The industry has a different numbering system something like 18-4

It is usually a 300 series. 304 and 316 are used a lot.

Yes ,the 300 series , 304. Also called 18-8 or 18-10. There are some however designed to be used for the magnetic stoves .The Allclad pots for this are a sandwich .Inside a 300 series ,then a layer of aluminum and on the outside a layer of martensitic stainless steel which is magnetic.

Magnetic stoves??? I guess they arent non stick
