Hi Gator,

Here's our New for 2001 page on our website. I know we showed the Outline, Sculptura, and Duo. Those are the hot items that will be released in the next couple of months.

Also, shown was the drop point Field Knife (no official name, yet). Here it is again:

I've not heard the 100% for positive "go" on this knife, but I think it is a relative sure thing. If so, production would be this fall or next year.

Hope you like our new stuff.

OMG some things do come true

Very glad we'll be able to see field recondo! Yes!

P.S. It'd be too much to ask for a clip point Xray huh

Knifecenter's recent news post from the Blade Show indicates that you will be releasing a new "Mini x-ray vision". True? If so, when? I am always looking for the next perfect small EDC. I have always appreciated the Vision designs, but they are all too large for city carry.

Ron,
I sure hope that field knife is a "go". It looks great! It would be welcome at my campsite anytime. Suggested MSRP?
Cheers,
Gord.

It is right to learn even from an enemy.

I hope it is a "go." It's pretty darn close. The MSRP would be relatively close to the Recondo at $110. Steel would be BG-42. Handle would be Zytel. Blade length at about 5". It would have a unique leather sheath with a "wrap around" closure around the cross guard.

As soon as I hear something official, I will let you guys know! Hang tight.

Ron,
What are the chances of it being offered with a partially serrated blade?

I know that not everyone likes partially serrated blades, but it would add functionality IMHO...
I have some Cocobolo that would make a really nice handle.
Thanks,
Rob

Ron,
What would a few little serrations hurt???
How about gold TiNi then? That would look sharp with cocobolo handles.

Ladies and Gentleman,

May I introduce, the "Relentless Bobby B."

I've gone the route of asking the "boss," I don't think those are going to happen--serrations or gold TiNi (I didn't ask about the gold). If TiNi is an option, it will be black.

I'm just waiting to hear if it will going into production.

(see post)
I will DEFINITELY be getting one of the Field knife versions, even without the serrations...
