what was the the bad guys knife in the movie Exposure (aka A High Arte)?????

its the ivory and worked nickle bolster handled dagger/ boot/ gentlemans lookin knife. there was an older thread about it on here, http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/355892-Exposure, the 3rd, 4th, and fifth pics are of the knife i'm talking about. remained unidentified in the other thread tho:mad: This movie is also now on netflix in hd(ish), so if ya haven't seen it, do it, probably the only hollywood movie with somewhat realistic knife fights, and its a cool movie at that.Any help is appreciated, cause this has honestly always bugged the HELL outta me.
 
I recall several custom makers doing that sort of design in the 80s (guardless fighters with 3/4 top edge, generally with hooked not straight pommel) so it's hard to say for sure.
 
Joe Kious was one of the other major makers that had knives in the film, I'd bet it was one of his. He does a lot of high end fighters, especially subhilts, that feature similar grinds.
 
If I had to guess, he was probably the maker for the other knife too. It was similar knives he was making then too. I've seen a lot of articles on that movie over the years, and he and Randall are the only handmakers mentioned.

interestingly while Rod Chappelle's knives were making a splash back then but he is known for big comfy handles not slim concealment blades
