What was this sheath made for?

I've had this for sometime, but I never noticed until just recently that it has two pockets. It's a bit too short to be for a 110 size and I've shown it with a 112 in the back pocket. There are no straps on the back for horizontal carry, just vertical and it's made in the US. Any ideas?

I think (emphasis on think) that is a special project sheath for a double knife set Buck did for Sam's Club (if my memory serves me correctly). The set consisted of a Buck Goliath, model 446 and a Bucklite, model 442. As I recall the Goliath had the usual black thermoplastic handle while the Bucklite came with a gray thermoplastic. Now, I could be wrong about the model mix and Buck customer but I am very confident there was a larger black thermoplastic handled knife combined with a smaller gray thermoplastic knife and both knives were lockbacks. Does anyone else remember this set?

Thanks Larry,

I'd have to think that what ever went in it originally would have to be fairly thin. With the 112 in the back pouch, there's barely room to fit an 055 in the front pouch.

Dave I bought a set consisting of a 442 and a 444,that came in that sheath. I have seen other sets on the bay like that also, if that helps. The Goliath doesn't fit in that pouch. Hope that helps. Spike

i found that if you stretch it, a 110 will fit after a while..sorta
now a slimmed down 110 fits some what better
as does the later 560s and old 4 dot 111's fit better yet

I just checked and the 444 fits great in the front pocket. It's the only Bucklite that I own, so I can't try any other in the back.
