What was your last impulse buy?

Mine was a MT Combat Troodon. I justified this by telling myself this is the only current MT I like that doesn't have those new screws.

5.11 Tarani Karambit.Took it out of the box.Held it for about 5min.Then put it back in the box.Just not for me.

I could wave it for you ;)

It actually has a nice blade & action.I just didn't like the curved/bulky handle & that big ring on the end.It was uncomfortable in my hand.

Don't worry man,the next knife I want waved,it'll go out strait to you.;)

I got a Warren Thomas rainer ring thing. I do have a small collection of WT
knives but that one is bloody useless for anything other than looking at.:foot:

Still a cool little blade though :p:thumbup:

Last impulse buy in general was a Romisen RC-N3 with Q3-5A emitter, along with an ITP A3 EOS. I just couldn't help it. An LED with three modes that gives off a warm tint, and a keychain light capable of delivering 80 lumens for nearly an hour off a single AAA battery? Ridiculous!

As for the last knife impulse buy, it was a Byrd Cara-Cara with G-10 handle scales. One beast of a folder, that's for sure. I'm still on-edge on whether I should actually keep this thing, since it doesn't really get used that often. I mean, it's a nice knife for the price, and it fills the hand nicely, but my slimline trapper keeps fighting for pocket room.

It seems I've had several impulse buys here lately but my last one was a HK fixed blade.

Nice knife. Just not me. I like a handle that's a little more filling. Sheath was cool though.

Spyderco Endura Wave and SOG Seal Pup Elite plain edge satin.

I bought a buck 160 -it is a little tiny keychain fixed blade that is about as useful as a razor blade. I felt bad for the gun shop I was in, talking about the new California policy on ammo sales -and just figured I would buy something to support them. I could have made a way better decision though (face-palm).

^too bad they did not have Opinels -and that nice sheath you have gajinos.

My Ruger Service Six was my last impulse by. Couldn't pass up the price.

Haven't been disappointed by either of em!

When I woke up yesterday morning I had no idea that I would order a Spyderco Native, Leatherman Wave and a Victorinox Electrician. Early Christmas.

Great Eastern Cutlery Toothpick in burnt stag. Purchased from SMKW while passing thru NE TN last week. Was not even a toothpick fan until I held this beauty in my hands. I'm afraid I will now have many more GEC 'impulse' purchases in 2010.

A couple of these guys (Collins/Nicholson 22" machetes)

I'm almost done polishing one of them to a mirror finish by hand, as well as all of the other usual mods one often must do to get a new machete in order. Edge was a full mm thick and had rough edges all 'round plus a blunted tip. But what do you expect for $6.00 a pop? It'll be one hell of a chopper once I'm done, and look good to boot! :D

I already know what the next one will be--this Chan Chi Kee cleaver.

FRN & VG10 Stretch. It wasn't really an impulse buy, though: Sal told me to buy it. :)
