As usual, I'm very excited about the New York Custom Knife Show November 11 through 13 at the Park Central Hotel at Seventh Avenue and 56th Street in NYC. My priority is a new Dozier fixed blade. I look forward to seeing Bob, Dan, Nakano and everyone at the Dozier table(s). THe sun promises to be shining. It will be a very special time.

I don't have money (will have by ECCKS), but I'll drop by Dozier, RJ Martin, Spyderco, Terzuola and Crawfords

look for the Devilz, while youre there!

If Dozier has some FH's(won't happen, I know) I'll be in heaven. Otherwise I may fall victim to a user grade slippjoint. I've never been to this show, do most of the makers bring the fancy-schmancy hurt-your-eyes-shiny jewelry sell-your-car-to-buy stuff, or can one find basic versions of their models?

youll find a whole blend of EVERYTHING!

it is very exciting!

 :D

My budget is already spent. Just going to take delivery of the knives I already ordered. hope I don't see anything I have to have, then I'll be forced to scramble for cash.

Good to hear. I'm looking forward to it. Even if I don't buy anything, it beats a day at work!

Tony, who are you kidding? I know you' ll be snatching up more Lums! :D I' m watching you across from (the other) Bobs table. ;)

Cliffr, maybe Bob can work some hocus pocus and whip up a couple of folders out from under his vest...

Johhny, see ya there on opening day.

Nakano

Nakano, I'll be looking fwd to seeing you again too...I just hope I don't drop the unsecured handle demo knife again =D

I'm hoping for something from Wally Hayes, Strider and maybe a Brad Duncan fixed blade...

Cliffr, besides the makers themselves, you'll find a few dealers there, too, and they will have a wide variety of everything, including older models the makers won't have anymore.

Just got done finishing up 100+ leashes and 50+ harnesses. What I buy depends on what I sell. Don't really have anything in mind but somehow I think I will find something.

Thanks for the encouragement guys:thumbup: I'd really just like a FH or FHL in drop point, micarta w/ thumbstud for, get ready to gasp:eek: , EDC. The few I've encountered for sale were all above $400 and most were Dozier's wharnecliffe. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Hope all you guys find exactly what you're looking for and have a great time at the show. I'm going the 1st day, should I expect a long line at opening? I don't hafta show up 3 hours before doors open do I?
