The coming weekend I will visit my family for Christmas dinner. Always a great event, with good talking and good food and drinks. Being a SAK/multitool guy, I always think about which SAKs and multitools to carry during that event, just like the ladies are worrying about which jewelry to wear.

I'm going light and I think I will be carrying my alox Bantam and add an alox Classic or Companion for the scissors. A toothpick isn't necessary, there are always plenty available on the dinner table. The Bantam can be handy for opening bottles and cans during cooking, if they will allow me in the kitchen at all. A blade is always handy.

What will you carry?

What I usually carry, a Spyderco Endura and Vic Cadet or Tinker. My family is used to my knives by now. Hmm, toothpick, it will have to be the Tinker.

Vin

My usual Explorer Plus, and maybe a Victorinox Manager just to shake it up. I live on the edge.

Likely my leatherman wave. I'm gifting one to my father and another to my brother in law, so I'll feel left out without it. I snapped a couple pics this afternoon before I wrapped them up.

Vic Spirit Plus multitool. I've got some serious package opening and toy assembly to do.

And a Gerber Artifact since the exacto blade is good for clamshell packaging.

Hmm prob my gec Barlow. I'm tempted to go to walmart and buy a cheap machete and put it down my pants. So I can be like "oh I know I got a knife somewhere..."*feels around in pockets* and then pull out the machete and wack the piss out of the box.

Well as always, Im sitting here drinking some Jack Daniels and reading this post and thinking "dam, I gotta go to the inlaws for Christmas tomorrow" Oh well, I have to go so my Wife want spaz out on me and I gotta wear those stupid cloths she wants me to wear and not be comfortable. Anyway, I will have my Spyderco Tenacious in my left pocket, cause my drunk butt is left handed and Ill have my Victorinox Fieldmaster on my right side on my Belt. I will also have my Leatherman Blast in my MAN bag along with my Izula in my Man bag "that stays in the truck". I will have my Leatherman Wave in my truck and a TAK and Vic OHT in my Bug out Bag that I carry in my truck. Ok, now I am a little tipsy as I right this so I hope you guys and gals can understand what Im talking about. Ladies, PLEASE let your husbands be a man and let him wear what is comfortable. Merry Christmas to all!!!!!

If I CAN put my Farmer out of my pocket, I will go the same road as you Harayasu:
Alox Bantam and my ever present black Classic:)

I've been carrying these all week and will carry it tonight/tomorrow as well. I'll also be carrying my Vic Manager on my keys.

Canal Street Cutlery Half Moon Trapper in Mossy green bone and a red alox Vic Pioneer

Ill carry (hopefully) a new vic alox farmer, and a new esee izula. If I dont get those for christmas, Ill carry my BM griptillion and a vic swisschamp.

My brother will be toting his new penstriped red/white vic sparten.

Vic Spirit, same as every other day.

I know it will get a work out opening all those kids' toys and assembling them.

I will be carrying two Vic Classics. A Blue one my daughter picked out for me on my keychain, and a Red one my boss gave me in my pocket.

Processed dinner this noon time with a small Ray Laconico FB, and opened gifts with a Farmer.
