What would #8 of Walter Brend's FIRST KNIVES be worth?

My Dad has # of the first run the Walter Brend made to get into the knife guild....
What would it be worth?

That it is marked # 8 doesn't necessarily mean it's his 8th Knife.

Whatever someone is willing to pay!

Walter's current price on a 8 1/2" Model 2 is $2200, I believe.
Sub-hilts are quite a bit more.

Walters current work is in high demand. Even though he did great work starting out, his current pieces are more desirable. That knife is definitely worth a lot more than your father paid for it. It would be worth more to a die hard Brend collector than someone who is searching for his current work. Like Michael said, Whatever someone is willing to pay!
It is up to you to determine what you want to sell it for. I think by taking a look at his current prices would be a good place to start.
