So at one point in time I had a balisong, actually a Bradley kimura. But times got rough so I had to sell it on eBay a couple months after I got it in order to have food and gas money that week. Its been a couple years since that has gone down and I always thought about getting another Bali but haven't had the extra funds. Just recently a birthday has passed and I have some extra money and really want to get back into flipping.

Mostly my 2 options are to get a bear song IV witch is just under 100$ and use that for a while and then eventually move up. Or jump on a benchmade 51 for 233$. I strictly remember dropping the Bali a lot witch makes me think that maybe the cheaper bear song would be a better choice as to not ruin a benchmade by dropping it in the grass and on the hardwood floor and cement floors that I will be on all the time. Then at maybe Xmas if I do indeed stick with it and get good than buy a benchmade.

Also I have a question. Regardless of what one I get should I take it apart and blue lock tite it and let it sit for like 24h?

What is everyone's opinion? I'm opened to any ideas.

Has anyone had the bear song to know if its decent for the money or just over priced junk?

Never had the bear, but I would advise to go ahead and just buy the benchmade. The quality and feel will make you glad you spent the extra cash. Later on you won't know what to do with the $100 bear and then it just be sitting somewhere in a desk.

I have ye olde 51, it is surprisingly light and... thin compared to my actually old 42T
I actually prefer the 32, despite not usually being fond of short folders
That blade hq shop has some kinda special custom version with solid titanium handles, i think i would prefer that to the borin g-10
I dont know what a bear song is

So which did you finally decided? I have both, the Bear actually flip better than the 51..., the 51 is just too light with the G10 scale. Anyway if you haven't gotten one yet, PM me and I'll make you a deal you can't refuse.
