what would be the better knife?

...for general outdoor use?

I have a couple of CP ABA'S, and it would have to be one of the best knives I have come across. I am however, finding that a little extra length in the same style of package could be advantageous.

I am looking at the SJ.

I did have an SJ once, but barely had time to hold it as it was for somebody else and they had to have it before they 'left'...

Thoughts appreciated.

Is a little more length worth it? :)

Gundy-

I can't comment on the satin jack, but in the length department the better half passes the envelope and the verdict is positive.

Guy,
The Tanker A sounds like what you are after, a little more length than the CP ABA'S, and built like brick s/houses. :D :)
Ian.
