What would I call it?

OK, Yeah it's very early in the morning and I can't sleep anymore. Too much knife stuff rattling around in the old coconut.

I'm working on a blade idea now that involves 11 twisted layers of three different steels that is then sliced down the middle with a piece of 1084 added (making it 4 seperate steels). What the heck would I call this...just a laminate blade? It's only gonna be 12 layers so I can't really call it damascus, maybe super-low-count damascus.

Call is Strata-Steel. Trademark it. Patent it. Don't forget to take me out on the new yacht!

You guys kill me!!!
Lamascus!

I was waiting for someone to say lazy!
Not true, not true!:D ;)

"Lazy" is taken I only have 7 layers in one of my pistol/folders.

I think the term damascus is too general. Doesnt it just mean "more than one steel"?

After the knife is done you will know what to name it.
