what would it cost to send one of my babies back for a proper sharpening job?

as i've mentioned a couple of times, i have an older g-2 dragonfly that has really seen its share of abuse. i can't seem to get the edge with my sharpmaker as i can on my merlin, and i was considering sending it back for sharpening. i'd love to have a real factory edge on it again. does that fall under the $10 return to check out type fee? would i be better off taking it somewhere locally? (around raleigh, nc)-any feedback would be appreciated.

5 USD for the shipping back
Usually they do a lot more than sharpening.
They put your knife through their torture machine, if it breaks and it's not up to their stuff, they'll replace it, and return your 5.
If it survives, they'll sharpen it and basically refurbish it. They remove all the scratches on my Native SS when I sent it in, and they have removed some orange peel stain that's stuck in the G10 on a Starmate that I sent in.
IMO the 5 bucks doesn't quite cover their cost.

they clean up scratches, too? that is excellent! what's the address to send it to?

i don't think it will fail any stress tests, though it has taken a real beating over time. i just want my longtime companion to be the best knife it can be. if it happens to need replacement, it will still be one of my babies-just in better shape.
