Okay experts,

with nothing but a picture, which model do you think this is? Consider angle, shape, cho, etc...

I'm the new guy and trying to learn.

 Sorry guys!

Looks like there was a server hiccup...try again?

 :grumpy: :barf: I hate computers...now if only I didn't make a living off them! :grumpy: :barf:

It's a balance model. There have been several offered on the daily specials lately.:D

Yvsa,

Thanks for confirming the link works! :o

It's the angle that has me thrown...I expected a balance to have another 20-30 degrees. This is bent more like a Siru...yes/no

What is (are) the actual determining factor(s)?

Sweet knife regardless!

It is similar to a Sirupati. The determining factor is the very thin and exaggerated wasp waist.
The balance point is about center of the thin curve. What's so amazing to me about the balance models is that the knife balances on its edge as well as its length. :D

its a balanced...one identical to that just came in the mail today from uncle Bill

Thanks guys...I thought the 10 degrees of difference in blade angle would have been part of the design that made it a "Balance".

IS the angle a definite in a Hanshee?

Got a lot to learn here all right! :)
