image.jpeg image.jpeg I got this knife as a part of a March 2017 "Man Can". Is it a chopper, cleaver, what? Pretty stout bugger.

I'd call it a wharncliffe. I guess it's also a cleaver, but wharncliffe for me implies more of a pocket-size knife, and a cleaver is something bigger and stouter. I'd guess the separation point is 4".

Not sure what you'd call that blade shape, really. I didn't know what an IV8888 was so I had to google it. I don't know if I'd want a knife that came out of some youtuber's "man can" (is that some newfangled synonym for prison wallet?) but maybe I'm just old fashioned or not understanding what kids are getting up to these days.

Cleaver or Razor style.

Not a Wharncliffe. A Wharncliffe is way different -

IV8888 is a YouTube channel. Iraqvetern8888. They sell Man Cans to help support the channel. I had no idea what was in one, just a theme which was EDC. Everyday carry...for those who don't know ;)

:) No offense intended , but I'd call it "pointless " and "nearly useless" for my purposes . ;)

I don't really understand why anyone would choose to carry a small pocket "cleaver" . They aren't massive enough to use as cleaver and literally have no useable point on them . :(

I guess some just like the look ?

 So ...THAT was your very first thought when you heard the new term ? :p
