If you had the opportunity to speak to the designer of a series of knives that you collect what questions do you think you'd ask?
 
What of their designs they consider classic
What are their next new knives
What are their goals and vision in design
 
I would ask for sources of their materials, why they use the materials they do, why they construct their knives in the fashion that they do, what intricacies go into the knife that may not be noticed, stuff like that.

Nice to see some other early risers on here. Exception being Neeman who stays up late! There have been some real good suggestions here so far. I think I'll also ask which of the knives in the series were the most difficult to produce and why,which are his favorites and what other knives were considered but abandoned.
 
What would they personally carry, possibly for the rest of their lives, and what pattern would they like to see in production?
