I was pondering another giveaway, but decided a pass-around might be a fun change of pace.

Are sub-forum pass-arounds allowed or only the pass-around forum?

OD-1 it is.

I think that it is generally only in the pass-around forum, but i think you could do it here too. I dont know for sure however

As for what i would like to see, a ZT 0400 or 030x series, or maybe a 110v shallot. a Pass would really put the steel through its paces.

I'd also love to see something from the ZT series, some exotic steels, or a JYDII or something popular like that. I would also be interested in something simple such as a Leek or Needs Workas it would truly show the practicality of it and attract new people.

I would love to see one of those ZT 030x T.A.D. Special Editions :-)

Alright fellas, lemme put a bit of constraints on the hopes and dreams. The knife will likely be abused and come back in pretty rough shape.

With that in mind, lets keep the budget in the $100 or less range.

Current leader: S110V Shallot

how about an offset!? haven't seen one of those yet!

besides... i already have a 110v

I think the G10 offset is probably one of the most interesting Kershaws. I got to play with one of the splatter/AL ones when it came out but I'm just not much for the AL. Ever since I've wanted to try the G10.

I would love to get a good look at a Kershaw Damascus.

Shallot or Skyline perhaps.

With the new flipper system on the OD coming out, that might make for an interesting passaround. Or go back a ways and grab an ENER-G II.

That would give everyone a chance to use Kershaw's best slicer, plus work on flipping skills!

Yah know DV, you might be onto something there...hrm, so many options...maybe we wait for the next round of releases. I think a regular production model might be a better choice than a sprint run.

If possible I am going to limit it to Kershaw Sub members so we dont have a MUDD repeat. I will need to confirm that as acceptable.

Once you get it cleared to do it in the sub, I really think it would be neat to use an ENER-G II. There's two models...the standard satin finish with the Trac-tec and Lee's LE with the black G-10 and DLC coated blade.

If it were me, I'd go with the original. I would image there are lots of newer Kershaw nuts that have never handled the ENER-G II.

I only have one request...we can clean the inside of the knife. I hate it when i get a passaround and i cant clean it cause its not my knife/the warranty for the knife would say "fat chance"/the knife is sluggish.

Sign me up if it is going to work. I don't need to do a passaround on a few knives, since I already have them, but the new ones maybe :D.
