What would you make if you had the freedom, time, and money to do so?

I am waving my magic wand here. I would love to hear what leather crafting project you would make if I gave you all the tools you needed - all the time you wanted - and the money you needed to make it happen.

What would you build?

Pictures of examples would be awesome!

Tal, you caused me to reflect on just how fortunate I am. I already have the time, money and equipment to do anything I want to and I do just that nearly everyday of the year. Of course, it would only be fair to say that I wasn't always in such a good position. Doing leather since 1951 has allowed me to add to my tools and equipment and build slowly to the point where I now find myself. Also I have been blessed with more than average orders over the past several years, and even more, those orders are all something I WANT to do. Most of my clients now give me free hand at design and execution so it's not really work.....more like daily fun.

I will renew my thanks at the bed side tonight for sure.:)

I go along with Paul . I can do any thing I want . Have all of the above you mentioned and I make what I want for fun. Wouldn't change a thing. Not doing it for money or sale , just for fun. Not happy with it give it away or throw it in the trash and start again. KT:)

Coming from someone as a full time craftsman, trying to feed my family on one income and can never seem to catch up and do free time stuff this question is very interesting. :)

Honestly, I'd go back to my roots and do art, what I was doing back in the 90's in college. I've been feeling the urge to do art again, in a big way, on a large format, and as passionately as I was back then. 3D, 2D, both. Getting my hands dirty with charcoal and prismacolor, paint, clay, wood. I miss it all.

I might need to find the time before I lose the need.

After the Xmas builds im doing now. Im wanting to do a nice messenger bag out of some W&C English bridle leather. Very heavy duty looking. Nice stainless steel hardware. Wet formed pockets. And get back to making more holsters after Xmas as well.
