Ok your stranded on an island you can only have 6 things to survive one of These things is a Becker what would you take and why? Include what Becker you would take!!!!
And go!
 
1. Sat phone.

2. Solar charger for the sat phone that has sat unused for 7 years and is dead.

3. The Becker. Probably a 14, won't need much else.

4. A pallet of water bottles.

5. A pallet of trail mix.

6. A pallet of those fake logs that burn for hours. Light that puppy as soon as I see any sort of rescue vehicle and I'll be spotted even on the brightest sunny day :p
 
1- a blonde with a boat
2- a brunette with her captains license
3- a redhead and some booze
4-can of Grizzly Extra Long Cut
5-MRE's and water
6-BK24 to open the MRE's.
 
Are we all stranded on the same island? If so...

1. I'll be the only one on the island with my BH patch. That in itself would make me ruler by default.
2. My BK2 to impose my will upon you.

If I have to choose from what I have already, a BK2. If I get to pick from all of them, KA-BAR edition BK77.

6. Gun emplacements to ward off anyone that manages to find the island despite the cloaking device.

large pot
firesteel
diving mask
large fishing net of some sort

Precisely. My wife and I are already dreaming up and saving for the remote location for retirement. When the money is there, we're gone...and nobody else in the family has a clue at this point. :D

And you guys taking along high-profile women...I pity you. If I'm "stranded" in paradise, I don't want a woman who expects luxury. Nagging and complaining will not last long before the looks fade and the attitude becomes unbearable. Just saying....
 
Assuming proper clothing, sun hat of some kind, shoes or sandals.
1) I'd take the Bk77 for it's corrosion resistance and edge holding, diamond hone & spec ops sheath.
2) small folding saw of high quality.
3) spool of heavy bankline or 550 cordage
4) Big jar of vaseline.
5) large stainless pot with a tight fitting lid.
6) Ferro rod or some way to start a fire.

I was tempted to say a shovel so I could dig my grave but the optimist in me wouldn't allow it.

Or if were talking about being strict on just 6 items, besides clothing items,
1) Bk77
2) Spool of bank line
3) Bahco folding saw
4) Large stainless pot
5) Diamond hone
6) Big vat of vaseline
